Introduction
Feed based on non-starch polysaccharides compounds in fish and poultry farming is used widely in developing countries. In addition to less nutritional value of such type of diets, presence of some soluble compounds via enhancing viscosity caused problems in monogastric animal’s digestive system. Supplementation hydrolysis enzymes such as xylanase, glucanase, protease, phytase and amylase in feed, besides improving the productivity and reduction the feed conversion ratio has significant potential in prevention of more environmental pollution. At the present time, the global market of hydrolyses is around $5 billion and our country import value is between 30 to 40 million $.

 

Research Program:

  • Isolation and identification of hydrolysis producing microorganisms
  • Determination the optimum catalytic conditions of candidate enzymes
  • Design the low cost culture medium based on agro-industrial byproducts for candidate enzyme production
  • Optimization of  enzyme production in Lab scale bioreactor
  • Enzyme production in pilot scale with industry collaboration
